Dear Alois, you have been an integral part of Timbatec Holzbauingenieure Schweiz AG for ten years, contributing your extensive expertise with great dedication. You take responsibility for projects holistically and with a clear focus. Thanks to your structured and calm approach to work and your comprehensive overview, even complex tasks are implemented in a solution-oriented, efficient manner that meets the customer's needs.
As a project manager, you cover a wide range of areas: timber structural engineering, construction, and fire protection, as well as construction site inspections, are just as much a part of your daily routine as consulting and expert assessments. Your professional foundation is strongly practice-oriented: basic training as a carpenter EFZ, further education and training to become a BSc in timber construction and a fire protection specialist VKF with a federal certificate. You know from your own experience how things work on a construction site – these practical skills are extremely valuable, especially in large and demanding projects such as the new construction of the Wiesental school complex in Baar.
Those who work with you appreciate your communicative manner and your consistently cheerful, positive attitude. At the same time, you have a calm, level-headed side. Nothing fazes you easily – a quality that is invaluable in everyday project work.
In your private life, you are a family man through and through who enjoys spending time with his family, and you have retained your love of travel from earlier days. You are almost always there for the weekly lunchtime swim at the «Ufschötti» in Lucerne. And anyone who knows you knows that, as a self-confessed dessert fan, you like to surprise your family with something sweet after work. These treats are, of course, enjoyed in your own specially designed and built wooden house. A true wood construction enthusiast through and through.
