10 years of project planning expertise at Timbatec

Dear Marcel, thank you very much for your hard work and your consistent, reliable service. You have been part of Timbatec Holzbauingenieure Schweiz AG for a decade and have made a mark on numerous projects with your commitment and expertise. In your work, you always keep your eye on the essentials: costs, deadlines, and quality—always with a clear focus on our customers.

You are a true team player. For you, it's collective success that counts, not individual roles. You take responsibility, but you are also able to fit into or subordinate yourself to a team and provide targeted support to others. This attitude makes you a valued colleague. As co-head of workshop planning and responsible for the workshop planning department, you ensure that projects are planned cleanly, prepared efficiently, and successfully implemented to the satisfaction of the client.

Your expertise is strongly practice-oriented: carpentry training, wood construction foreman with federal certificate, and extensive experience in craftsmanship, organization, and leadership. You know exactly how things work on a construction site—and you apply this knowledge in your daily work. As an experienced Cadwork user, you are a work planning specialist who not only draws technical solutions but also understands them. In addition, you are actively involved in supervising and training our interns and enthusiastically passing on your expertise and knowledge.

You are also full of energy outside of work: as a passionate endurance athlete, you take on challenges such as the 100 km run from Biel or the Jungfrau Marathon. Running, racing bikes [which are often «stored/left» in the Bern office for weeks at a time – info from insider sources at the Bern office] – or skydiving: dynamism and movement are simply part of who you are. You might even spontaneously decide to walk home the 15 km after a beer at the end of the working day. Added to this is your commitment as the annual «Schüpfen-Grümpi organizer.» And last but not least, you are a real family man who is devoted to his children with a lot of heart, joy, and enthusiasm.
