For the past ten years, Simon Huser has been contributing his extensive knowledge of timber construction and his passion for innovative hybrid construction methods to Timbatec. As a project manager, he oversees challenging projects with technical expertise, foresight, and a clear focus on quality, costs, and deadlines.
Dear Simon, you’ve been part of Timbatec Holzbauingenieure Schweiz AG for ten years now, and you consistently impress us with your professional expertise, reliability, and high standards of quality. In your projects, the needs of our clients are always the top priority. You keep costs, deadlines, and quality under control at all times, and your structured approach ensures the successful completion of challenging construction projects.
After joining Timbatec in 2016, you were responsible for the facade design for the residential development «sue&til» for over a year. This was followed by other challenging projects, such as the BIM construction planning for the KSA temporary cafeteria «le Clou». Today, you are our proven specialist in wood-hybrid construction and support our teams with your broad expertise in complex structural solutions. Since this summer, you have also been deepening your expertise in the field of building physics, thereby continuously expanding your skill set.
With your training as a timber construction designer and your advanced training as a timber construction technician (HF), you have built a strong technical foundation. From project management, structural analysis, and design to fire safety, bidding, shop drawing preparation, inspections, and consulting, you cover the entire spectrum of modern timber construction projects. In addition, you actively contribute your knowledge to product development, thereby playing a key role in advancing our services.
In your personal life, too, you’re full of energy. As a father of four, you love spending your free time with your family. Staying active is just as much a part of that as long bike rides or participating in the annual «Bike to Work» challenge. The fact that you enjoy tackling challenges on your own is also evident in your home in Wettingen, which you’ve renovated and expanded step by step, doing much of the work yourself.
Dear Simon, thank you very much for your loyalty, your dedication, and your valuable work over the past ten years. We look forward to many more exciting projects and shared successes with you at Timbatec.
