The new school complex Ort in Au Wädenswil is an impressive architectural and structurally sophisticated showcase project for modern timber construction. At the heart of the structural solution are specially developed Vierendeel girders made of wood - a structural masterpiece.

With its new hall, TSUGAMI NP Swiss in Delémont has opted for a pioneering timber construction method that is not only more sustainable, but also aesthetically pleasing. Riggisberg is building on education: New school space in timber construction is being built here: A three-storey modular building is being added to the Aebnit school complex. The building offers flexible learning spaces for modern forms of teaching - with expansion reserves and a photovoltaic system. Timbatec planned the supporting structure and advised on the design and building physics.
